{"id":3006,"date":"2025-06-09T16:14:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T16:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wearepdi.com\/en-us\/?page_id=3006"},"modified":"2025-06-09T16:14:28","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T16:14:28","slug":"m365-post-migration-tasks","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wearepdi.com\/en-us\/m365-post-migration-tasks\/","title":{"rendered":"M365 Migration \u2013 Post Migration Tasks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our Microsoft M365 migration is scheduled for June 13th-June 16th as part of the larger initiative to separate the NP \/ PDI shared technology platforms.\u00a0 Please review the attached important information and post-migration action items to ensure a smooth transition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planned Email Outage Window<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong>: Friday June 13th, 5PM<\/li>\n<li><strong>End<\/strong>: Monday June 16th, 8AM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During this period, access to the following M365 platforms will be unavailable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email<\/li>\n<li>Teams<\/li>\n<li>OneDrive<\/li>\n<li>Power BI<\/li>\n<li>Any other Microsoft services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, access to systems that authenticate through Single Sign On (SSO) will not be available (listed in priority sequence):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fortinet VPN<\/li>\n<li>Master Control<\/li>\n<li>PDI Connect<\/li>\n<li>UltiPro<\/li>\n<li>Esker (limited associates connect through SSO)<\/li>\n<li>TM1<\/li>\n<li>Ensure<\/li>\n<li>Docusign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To ensure you&#8217;re fully set up and operational in the new environment, please complete the following steps after the migration is complete:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Post-Migration Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in the new Microsoft tenant \u2013 This is the first step and must be completed before you can access M365 services on a web browser, mobile device, or laptop.<\/li>\n<li>Access M365 via web browser \u2013 Provides immediate access to your emails and files; no syncing or caching required.<\/li>\n<li>Access M365 on a mobile device \u2013 Partial syncing\/caching will occur during setup.<\/li>\n<li>Access M365 on a laptop \u2013 Full syncing\/caching is required.
