Learn more about Elizabeth Bravo, Senior Counsel, and her experience as part of the PDI Legal Affairs team.
Q. Can you tell us a little about your role at PDI?
Bravo: I am Senior Counsel at PDI, and while I handle a wide range of legal matters, my daily responsibilities primarily involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
Q. What new skills have you learned while working at PDI? How have you developed personally and professionally?
Bravo: When I started at PDI, the bulk of my experience was in contracts only. During my time at PDI, I’ve been able to expand my legal expertise into other areas, such as employment and privacy law, while strengthening and diversifying my contract experience as well.
Q. Can you provide some insights on your team dynamics / working relationships with colleagues?
Bravo: I am part of a great legal team. We support each other and collaborate regularly in an effort to provide quality service and legal advice to all PDI functions.
Q. What is your favorite memory from working at PDI?

Q. Do you have any interesting hobbies or fun facts you could share? (personal or work related)
Bravo: I recently started learning how to play chess! My husband is a professional chess teacher with chess programs at various schools in NY and NJ and I’ve finally asked him to start teaching me 15 years into our relationship.
Q. How long have you been with PDI and why have you decided to stay with the company?
Bravo: I have been with PDI for almost 5 years, and I am still with the company because of the consistent support and development that I receive, as well as the meaningful contributions I am able to make within the organization.
Q. How has the company evolved since you joined?
Bravo: I believe that over the past few years, collaboration between other departments and the legal team has greatly increased. I think these cross-functional partnerships have enabled the company to make better decisions relating to PDI’s business.
