Dr. Regina Benjamin

Regina Benjamin, MD, MBA served as the 18th U.S. Surgeon General from 2009 to 2013. She was also chair of the National Prevention Council, composed of 17 cabinet-level heads of federal agencies that released the first-ever National Prevention Strategy, whose goal was to change our healthcare system from one based on sickness and disease, to one of wellness and prevention.

Dr. Benjamin attended Morehouse School of Medicine, obtained her MD degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and an MBA from Tulane University. She serves on several corporate boards, including 2 publicly traded healthcare companies. As a family physician, and founder of Bayou La Batre Rural Health Clinic, Dr. Benjamin is one of the nation’s leading voices on population and preventive health issues.

Mark Dixon

Mark Dixon serves as President for The Mark Dixon Group, LLC, leading a consulting practice which provides medical suppliers and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) consultative assistance in successfully navigating the changes in healthcare. Mark brings 30+ years of leadership experience in the health care industry with a proven record of results in developing and sustaining market-leading organizations. He specializes in providing C-suite level services to increase medical supplier relevancy/performance in an era of health reform and value creation. He also works with numerous IDNs on strategic initiatives such as quadruple aim achievement, consumerism, population health, and overall IDN long term plans.

Mark previously served as the South Region President for Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 2008 – 2011. Prior to that he served as a senior executive with Community Health Network in Indiana and Allina Health in Minneapolis. Mark also has served on numerous not-for-profit and for-profit boards of Directors and speaks nationally on the changes in healthcare. Mark earned both his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and his Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota

Ronald Gordon

Jody Hatcher

Jody Hatcher is the former President of Vizient’s supply chain services. Prior to his role at Vizient, he was responsible for operational businesses of the newly merged VHA/UHC/Novation organization. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Novation, he spearheaded Novation’s investment to build world-class data assets and analytics that are key foundational components of Vizient’s industry-leading data and analytic solutions today. In addition, he has led a variety of key initiatives such as Novation’s first entry into the global marketplace through its partnership with DHL in the United Kingdom.

Jody served as a board member of Provista, Vizient’s subsidiary serving non-acute members, from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, he served as a board member and Chairman of the Board for the Healthcare Industry Supply Chain Association. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX), board member and chairman of the Healthcare Group Purchasing Industry Initiative, and a board member of the Irving Healthcare System Foundation.

Filippo Passerini

Filippo Passerini is a shared services and digital technology strategist with more than 30 years of business-building experience with Procter & Gamble — both in developed and developing markets. He served for over ten years as Group President of Global Business Services (GBS) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), leading P&G’s global organization, and overseeing technology and business services operations in more than 70 countries.

He currently serves as a global operating executive, consultant, and educator with affiliations at McKinsey, Columbia University, MIP-Politecnico of Milan, and advisor to several global companies. He serves on the Boards of United Rentals Inc. and Integer. Passerini’s strategies, principles and ideas have been included in numerous books, articles and the Harvard Business Review. He earned a degree in Statistics and Operations Research from La Sapienza, University of Rome.

Lauren Walters

Lauren Walters, a San Francisco resident, is a lawyer and entrepreneur. He currently serves as a board member of health care and educational technology companies and an advisor to early-stage ventures. He provides management and strategic consulting to the private and public sectors. Walters has been a private investor in early-stage new media, technology, and biotechnology companies. He chaired the board of the Consensus Building Institute for more than 15 years. He was the Co-Founder and CEO of Two Degrees Food and the COO of the Toll Road Corporation of Virginia, an infrastructure company.

Walters is a former Chairman and Member of the Concord (MA) School Committee and the Concord-Carlisle (MA) Regional School Committee. He earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a law degree from Georgetown University. He was a Fulbright Professional Scholar in Law and International Business. Walters has been a member of Concord Consortium’s Board of Directors since 2002.
