Q. Can you tell us a little about your role at PDI?

Meeks: As a Customer Care representative, specifically dedicated to Sani Professional, our main focus is making sure our customers have what they need when the need it, and always providing the customer with a positive experience. In addition to processing customer orders we heavily interact with our internal customers including but not limited to, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and the Warehouse.

Meeks: Our team dynamics are exactly that, dynamic. We work hard and are always willing to help one another. My team is like a second family. We laugh, we argue and occasionally poke fun at one another.

Q. What is your favorite memory from working at PDI?

Meeks: I am lucky to have several. I would say I have taken some unique phone calls from customers over the years. šŸ˜Š

Q. Have you participated in any charitable programs or events through PDI? If so, which ones and what impact did that program have on our local community?

Meeks: Yes, I participated in Sani-Paws Animal Rescue during Be the Difference Day 2021, where all donations went to the Hudson Valley Humane Society in Pomona, NY.

Q. Do you have any interesting hobbies or fun facts you could share? (personal or work related)

Meeks: I have been an active member in my local Lionā€™s Club since 2008. Our motto is ā€œWe Serveā€. We assist blind and disabled people. Our assistance comes in various forms, from donating used eye glasses, raising money for The Seeing Eye Inc, which trains seeing eye dogs, to sponsoring and maintaining a cabin at a Summer camp for visually impaired and disabled children. I also currently serve on the Zoning Board of Adjustment in my town and have done so for the past 10 years.

Q. How long have you been with PDI and why have you decided to stay with the company?

Meeks: Well, technically it will be 4 years this November. However, I am part of a little known club here at PDI, The Boomerang Club. I left and came back. There is no secret handshake or anything, but there are several us. I have decided to stay here because of our mission and the people. I really enjoy those I work with on a daily basis.

Q. How has the company evolved since you joined?

Meeks: I have seen tremendous growth in the Sani Professional business over the years from when I first started. We never do stand still.
